Yoga. Within the context of Indian philosophical thinking, Yoga stands for a particular tradition extraordinarily rich in theory and practice.
The most popular system in modern society is Classical Yoga of Patanjali which describes eight limbs of the Astanga system leading to Kaivalya or Liberation
In Kathopanishad Yoga is defined as practising or engaging body, mind and soul in the development of concentration which will lead to inner peace and growth.
Bhakti Yoga is a practice of selfless service, devotion and recognition of the sacred or divine in everything and everyone.
The Sankya system believes when the earthly body expires, the subtle body moves to another physical body. This is where the theory of reincarnation starts.
As you see there are many traditions and definitions of yoga however, one common thing with all of them is attaining the state of higher consciousness through working with both body and mind.
To start our journey we will work with Yama, Niyama, Asana & Pranayama. We will also touch on the assisting philosophy to help the process.

Shiatsu. Shiatsu is an ancient oriental meridian theory and practice. It uses a combination of kneading, pressing, tapping and stretching techniques. These techniques aim to reduce tension and re- energise the body. Operating on our body's capacity to self-heal, shiatsu restores our energetic balance, releasing tension and activating relaxation. Shiatsu is connected to outstanding effects on digestive and bowel disorders, improving digestion and releasing toxins. In women a huge benefit of taking regular treatments can be seen in the improvement of conditions related to their menstrual cycle, relief of the symptoms of menopause and prevention of common illnesses related to women’s health such as breast cancer, cervical cancer endometrioses, and ovarian cysts. In pregnant women, shiatsu helps with problems of water retention, pains in the lower back, legs, neck and other chief complaints.
In my work, I combine these two beautiful practice methods to provoke healing of the body and influence the patterns of the mind depending on a person’s capability and willingness. When we are in group situations during the workshops and retreats the energy of the group yields the results for the entire group. As the energy moves more positive results can be seen towards changing the patterns.
There is nothing better than group work to assist our Healing Process therefore I strongly encourage taking the workshops and retreats which will be on offer periodically. Online courses will build a strong foundation for hands-on experience during the workshops and retreats.
